Putin’s spox: Anti-Russian sanctions of US hit both countries

NEW YORK, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- The sanctions that the U.S. imposed on Russia have hit both countries, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin, told PRIME on November 12.

“We have a negative impact from the sanctions, but there is also some positive influence,” he said.

“Some sectors of our economy are rising due to the sanctions, and people who work there will protest if anyone promises to lift the sanctions. The situation is contradictory. Anyway, sanctions have hit both sides.”
